For as long as he can remember Tim Jensen has loved art and having a strong fascination for realism he discovered he had a gift for capturing impressive likenesses through his pencil portraits.

Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Northwest College of Art in Poulsbo, WA. where he found a unique position in the computer game field working for many years learning the latest 3D modeling, graphic design, and photo editing software. This helped Tim take his artistic abilities to a higher level giving his work greater accuracy and visual impact. Tim is also an avid photographer and, always with a camera in hand, he is constantly on the lookout for new subjects to represent.

Tim is a “Best of Show” winner from the Ocean Shores Juried Art Show and an award winner from many other competitions including the Washington State Fair and the Edmonds Arts Festival. At the Washington State Fair Tim regularly demonstrates his drawing skills and periodically judges for the juried art show.

While commissioned pencil portraits of people and pets are regularly accepted Tim is also creating fine art pieces exploring interesting themes in nature and wildlife.
